Ashley's Last Day

thepnutgalleryNever heard from the temp agency on what time I should be in, so showed up at 9. I guess that was early, but I found stuff to do. Got sent home at 4:30...still took me over an hour to get home. I hate traffic. Made a quick gym trip, then met Ashley and her parents at Saigon on 5th. They're very pleased that my life is better since last time we spoke. Hit the gym again on the way back, and was late picking Ashley up because of a ridiculous WI law placing the onus for negative individual's continued negative status on positive individuals. That is, if you're aware of your positive status, and have unprotected sex with a negative person, you can be charged. The people posting on the story were stuck in the 80's, citing manslaughter, giving examples of running around shooting people, speaking of HIV as "100% fatally rate." I was mad.
Anyway, picked Ashley up, took her to Flick's, where John was waiting with Andy. I really had a right decent time there - saw lots of folks I knew, enjoyed the conversation, etc. We headed to Rich's when the crowd started clearing out. Luis Perez was spinning, and as I always am these days, I was disappointed. He used to be really good, but he seems to have lost it. Bianca, the resident drag queen did Adele's "Rumor Has It." It was okay. The gogo boy contest was interesting, to say the least. The first guy up was gorgeous, very flexible, and clearly packing. He didn't even place. The guy who should've won, by audience reaction, looked better with clothes on. The winner did a whole Clark Kent stripping routine, but the most important factor was that Bianca said (to the DJ, when she thought we couldn't hear) that he was a sweet man.
At the end of the show, some drunken fuck threw his cup at the stage. Not really clear if it was at Bianca or the wannabe dancers, but Bianca nearly took off her wig. It was kind of awesome to watch, and reminded me of when Mya was at Spin and dodged a thrown batch of ice cubes with a hairflip.
We left shortly thereafter, a little after 1. This was still an "early night" as compared to the ones that Ashley had been having, but I was okay with it.
