Made breakfast, Tim went off to the car dealership, I worked a little more on the file. Saw that Zack, who I've played with a couple times over the years, posting if anybody had a couch he could crash on before he trekked back up to Escondido. Offered to let him use mine, and immediately got a text from Tim that he needed a ride from the BMW place. Picked up Zack from in front of Numbers. Numbers is only a few blocks from my house, so I thought it was strange that he needed a ride...stranger still that he was texting me sporadically from a Google Voice number. In the car, he mentioned that we now had something in common. Poor guy. Set him in my bed, picked up Tim, then drove over to Daniel's apt to help him move.
Moving was a mess and a half, and included a large, hideous couch that wouldn't fit in their new place. It got stuck coming out of their old place, in the corridor into the new building, and finally in the hallway before Jeff called ready to be picked up from work.
Back at home, Tim was working on his paper, Zack was still asleep. We made dinner, saving some for when Zack woke up, but it soon became apparent that he wasn't getting up any time soon. Tim surmised that he was coming down from drugs. Tim and I slept on the futon and left Zack still sleeping on my bed, ignoring the wet spot on my bed around his crotch.
