Birthday Fail

Thursday August 6th – Went down to school and didn't get much studying done, then up to Art's office and waited for him until he got there at 9:30. Worked on the BK case all day, then headed to TJ's/Ralphs for ingredients, and ended up going to Smart & Final for coffee syrups. My mom called when I got home, concerned because she saw some pic of me in drag. Ugh. Got off the phone with her, and I meant to set things up for Ken's b-day, take Cisco for a walk etc. - Just things that would be nice on one's birthday. None of it happened. I finally succumbed to the headache/nausea/etc. and laid down for a little while. Ken came home while I was still there, and seemed in a bad mood. He said he was just in a hurry, and I couldn't see the clock. Got up while he was out with Cisco, started putting some IcyHot on my shoulders, thinking I might have a tension headache or something. Ken asked if my shoulders were sore, but walked out of the room before I could answer, and didn't come back in. I fell asleep again after he left, and only got up when he called on his break. Made his cake, took Cisco out for another walk. Cake wasn't done when he got back, and wasn't strong enough in pomegranate flavor anyway. Ken had two slices, I had the rest.
