Thursday July 3– Work was okay – I got the stuff I needed to done for the estate planning of the client, and chatted with co-workers. Searched around for vegan-friendly cooking classes, but it turns out most cooking classes are 1) expensive, and 2) demonstrations, not hands on. Fuck that. Since I love cooking, but worry frequently about leftovers, I came up with the idea that once per week or something, he and I should just make something new and have friends over to eat it. He agreed! Wonderful. We were supposed to have game night at Jason's, but he canceled, since Michael wasn't coming, and he didn't get the feeling that Wyatt was into it. Wyatt ended up coming over for dinner and Hello Kitty Shopping Spree – we made oven-fried Bran Dough, roasted chickpeas, and veggables. Jason joined us after that for Candy Land and Sleeping Queens. Michael and Byron came over much later than anticipated, and Byron signed up to go swimming with me and Wyatt the next morning. They were going out partying, but I stayed in because Ken did. I'm lame, but honestly, we'd had a good night already.
