Crazy Liquor Sale!
Jun. 8th, 2009 10:57 amSaturday June 7 – Got up fairly early, and not tired at all, which was great. Ken and I went to Ralph's to get him some breakfast, which turned quite fortuitious, since they set out a bunch of discounted alcoho - $40 bottles of vodka for $10, $20 bottles of rum for $5, and $15 bottles of champagne for $2.50. Good times. Kenny and Nelson came over, had breakfast, and then Nelson left and Kenny and Ken Ken did a bunch of home improvement things while I tried to work on my client letter/research journal. Unfortunately, I was so damn randy that I didn't get much done. In the afternoon, we went to Myra's b-day party...Jonathan from the x-mas party was there, with his fiance Zach. We got to chat with the charming and chatty Hershey, who works at Betty's. I wasn't really feeling the drinking, but I went ahead and had one drink. So did the boys, and we stayed chatting for a while. We briefly stopped at home to grab Cisco, since one of the other waitresses had just rescued a Boxer. Cisco, unfortunately, has a rather hard time with larger dogs, and snapped at the very friendly Boxer, so I took him for a run around the block and then home. I'm not sure if it was the run or the booze or both, but my world was kind of spinning when I finished, so I sat down with him for a moment before heading back to the party. I had a mini-tortilla with guac, and we chatted with a not very articulate girl from RI, who thinks that children should make up their own mind when it comes to being veggie. I'm all for people making up their own mind, but given that grown adults often don't make the connection between what's on their plate and what it actually is, and that's no accident, I can't say that I trust a child to make their own decision on that any more than I do on sex. That being said, I think her parents need to let her be a child, and provide vegan alternatives at birthday parties, etc. Anyway, we went home after that – Eric sent a text inviting us over for drinks/food, but Ken was napping, and even after his nap just kind of ignored it. Eventually, it came out that Leo was there, and he didn't want to go anyway. Just not ready for that. Kenny and a couple other kids from the party came over – a big girl and her gay(bi?) husband. He was fairly toasted, and I think I was mostly okay, but I was slightly irritated, and this got no better when they started drinking straight from the bottle. They left for Brass Rail, Ken and I went to Rich's, where I thought the music was okay. Ken'd had quite a bit to drink before we got there, and a couple drinks at the place. Some aerialist put on a show, and he was good, but not high enough up. Dax was there, with his very tall drag queen friend, and we talked briefly. A very attractive gent named Bart was making eyes at us while Ken closed out, and I started talking to him. He was also bored there, and Ken offered to take him home. We stopped at Ralph's to get some pizza for Ken, then home to find a friend. No one was hitting me up, and the one guy that hit Ken up was clearly on drugs. Ken seemed vaguely irritated when Tim/Rockchalk wanted to come over, and I was uninterested. We talked very very briefly about how we're supposed to be finding new stuff for us to do as a couple that don't involve other people, and Ken talked about how much it turns him on to watch me. Can't really argue with that, except that he never wants to JUST watch. We ended up having Dax over, and he fucked me briefly, and they dp'd me briefly, and Ken was pushy about his hard on, and Dax couldn't get it up, so I rode Ken, and Ken kept staring at Dax. Ken said he came, which I kind of doubted, but I went ahead and did, too, and then Dax did. Said goodbye to Dax, went to bed.
