Well, at least I had a great weekend....

First, the good news: I had a fantastic weekend. One of the best I've had in a while. Rocky on Friday was decent, although I can't seem to get the timing right for my alternate choreography during Time Warp (piques and a pirouette instead of spinning flaps). Met up with an ADORABLE gent from A4A by the name of Russel, and stayed up until 6:30am chatting and fucking. Missed the 11:30 Jazz class, but still got up in time to be there for the auditions. I was supposed to have a date for after the auditions, with a gent by the name of Ken, but he never called. Bummer, since we had been chatting for a while, and were getting to be quite decent friends. (Update: He has since apologized for missing the night, and we're going to give it another shot sometime next week = sweet). I called Nate (gent whose place I've been having brunch at for the past few weeks), who was hanging out with roomies and friends at Flick's, and went down to meet them there. Had a FAN-******-TASTIC evening, despite not winning the wet underwear contest, and some awkwardness with Nate. Brunch the next day was very good, although I wish I had known before that the plan was to watch "Shaun of the Dead" during.

And then things started going down hill. Came home on Monday to find the internet down, and my knowledge of computer anatomy insufficient to completely fix it by myself. Got the call on Tuesday that Anthony's car was in the shop for about 1k. Didn't go to work today because Anthony needed me to take him to the mechanic at some point, and wasn't sure when. Forgot to call HR and tell them this, so got a very worried phone call at 10:30. Finally, leaving to go to the gym with Anthony, discovered a parking ticket that I would never have gotten if I had gone into work today.

Of course, things really aren't that bad: I have friends whose knowledge of computer anatomy is sufficient to help me when mine isn't, I can forget to call into work and still be paid, and I have the money in the bank for things like broken cars and parking tickets. But I'm still very much looking forward to the weekend.

The House held auditions & call backs this past weekend at APA. I needed to be there to people wrangle and because it's me checking out the space.
