First Day of Swimming!
Feb. 11th, 2009 02:44 pmTuesday - Briefly considered staying home from Torts, but the off hand chance that I might get called on persuaded me otherwise. It was a little chilly when I left, so I wore my panda hat. Stopped by the financial aid office, but they told me I needed to print up the paper on my own. Passed Alex on my way in, but didn't have time to chat. Printed and filled out my paper, turned it in, and this time did stop to talk. Heather Garritson walked by, and the three of us talked about Yeager & such. Also talked about Torts - it comforts me that Alex also sees Lynch not being as liberal as he seems. Probably Libertarian. Class went alright - Christina and Barakat both complimented my hat. I was going to stop at Nature's Express on my way home, but traffic made it more trouble than it was worth. Ate some gluten when I got home, and some chips, and generally just felt gross. The tankless folks were supposed to show up between 12-2, but it got to be 2, then 2:15, then 2:20 and they still weren't there. Decided not to go to Contracts, but did go to the pool before the shoot. Went back and forth over which to go to - City Heights was open later, but Tierrasanta was closer to the studio. Ended up at Tierrasanta, and bought the Disabled rate 25 pack. There was no one else swimming laps, but there were girls practicing for water polo, so I was fine. I only swam for about 35 minutes, but I got in a great swim. Drove up to the studio after that, ended up killing time in my car until Anthony came and got me. They also loved my hat, and the fact that it matched my outfit. Shoot went well - Anthony talked to me in the Green Room about almost coming out to the cast. Ironically, Harry went fishing right after that, and Aimee jumped in. Headed home - thought about getting cookies, but successfully did not. The boys had already eaten, so I just had some gluten. I don't think I really care for the current American Idol system of having people on the edge sing against each other. That having been said, I think a lot of people chose really poor songs. Just went to bed after that.
