Reading My Exams, and I'm Sorry
Feb. 3rd, 2009 03:04 pmMonday - Headed down to class, where I felt very stupid for the first half of class, and very annoying to my class mates for the second. Didn't get much from CivPro, but I managed to contribute once or twice. Drove over to Wyatt's on the break, and took him up to 99 Ranch. Apparently he was VERY drunk last night, and had gone over to Jason's after & hit on both Jason and Daniel. I picked up tofu, gluten, and potstickers, and showed him around as best I could. He queried again about why I'm still with Ken, but seemed confused when the best answer I could give was that I was madly in love. Drove him home, then headed down, grabbed the two finals I was allowed to, and went to tutoring. I was shocked at how poorly I'd done on my legal skills final, and how well I'd done on my CivPro final. If I'd only finished section 2! My internet wasn't working, so I just typed what I could from the lecture. Did some ridiculously easy practice questions, which really made me feel good about myself, then headed home. Again, I was going to go to the Transit Store, but I really just wanted to go home. Had a cocktail when I got there, and another when I remembered that Ken had his tax appointment. He came home earlier than expected, kissed me, and had an emergen-c. I laid down in bed, and he came in after a bit. He kissed me again, and I told him I was hurting. He apologized, but declined to state for what. One of the last things I said was there was no love in his actions last Wednesday, but I didn't specify either. He made a lovely dinner of gluten "meat sauce" over bowtie noodles. Laying on the couch a little later, he kissed me again, and we made with the sexin, only this time I was wise enough to request a 5 min refresher before we even got started. Good times. He watched TV, I wrote my self-critique, even though it's not due until the 13th. In hilarity, one of the things I want to work on is grammar, and the main way to fix that is proof-reading, but just as I hit the "submit" button, I noticed an error. Oh, well. Leo came home with In & Out, and Ken had some of his fries. We watched Heroes, and RuPaul's Drag Race, and American Idol. I ended up eating most of the bag of potstickers, and threw the last couple away. I did, however, discover the secret to gyoza dipping sauce - sesame, soy, vinegar. Yum. Took a shower, did my workout for the first time in at least a week. Went to bed, but it was hot and my mind wouldn't stop racing. Took a tylenol PM and eventually crashed.
