Being Good At Betty's

Tuesday - Leo had stuff to do at the house, so I went up to La Jolla to hang out with John. He had some videos of him getting head from his exes, so we watched those, but wisely left the apartment right after that. It's amazing what sobriety does for will power. I also got to meet his roommate Eric, who I didn't like. We went out to Whole Foods for lunch, and I bought an overpriced Nature's Express wrap. We talked about HIV, and about organizations, and the global job market. Back at his apartment, we sat outside and talked much longer than anticipated. I finally had to go, to beat traffic. The entrance to the 5 was already backed up, so I headed over to the 805, which was similarly crowded. Ended up driving all the way back to the 5. Blah. Finally made it home, kicked back for a while until Leo came home. We went out to Betty's for dinner. Ken originally suggested that we all share a plate of nachos. Silly boy! They were surprisingly busy, so we had a cocktail while we waited. I saw Brett and Jason having dinner, and said hello. Finally got our table...I was very tempted to get a burrito, but the calories involved and the possibility of sex later kept me on good behavior. I got potato flautas instead. Jason and Brett came over...it was nice visiting with them, but they stayed until it was downright awkward for them to be there. I was also kind of uncomfortable having them watch me eat. Back at home, Ken mentioned he was sleepy, so I figured sex wasn't going to happen. Much to my surprise and delight, however, he was naked when I got in! I still had to get cleaned up, which always kind of ruins the mood, but the sex was pretty damn good.
