No Green Phoenix
Dec. 28th, 2008 09:58 amSaturday - Woke up at 7, but figured Ken would kill me if I started bouncing around at that time, so I drank some water and went back to sleep. I should have gotten cleaned up while I was thinking about it, but I'm just not that bright sometimes. We both woke up around 9, and Ken wanted me to suck him off, but quickly. Um....I've sucked him off twice, and it was a marathon both times. Not to mention I think of oral as foreplay. He was also not willing to give me the 5 min I needed to get ready. Ugh. I got up and got ready for the day, while he still laid in bed. Leo came over, and Ken finally got out of bed. I guess Leo had woken up super early, and had spent the morning alternating packing, throwing up, and crying. I'm not so good with the emotional support, so that just made me in even more of a hurry to get on with the loading, which is something I am good at. Leo's mum had made breakfast, and the boys sat down to eat. I wasn't really hungry, so I started loading the truck up. Everyone laughed when I brought out the huge red chair, and Ken had to explain to everyone that I'm an ox. I sat down after that, and had some hash browns, and a tortilla, and some pancakes. Leo threw up a couple more times, but we did finish eventually. Filled up the tank, and got on the road around 12:30. The drive was fairly uneventful, and I did a good job of keeping myself occupied with my journal. We made fairly good time, right up until we were just outside of Phoenix, where we ran into some fairly heavy traffic. We might possibly have made it to Green, but we were all so tired that we drove straight to Todd's instead. Got settled in there, and tried to decide on a place for dinner. My only requirement ever is that it have vegan options. Ken suggested Applebee's, but there's nothing there I can have. We decided on Chile's, but then changed to Cheesecake Factory instead. I decided I wasn't really that hungry, so I just ate some of the bread instead. Headed over to Amsterdam after that, but just for one drink. A friend of Leo & Todd's that lives out there was going to meet us, but he didn't show up. Headed home, where most folk got sleepy. Ken ended up going to bed soon thereafter, but Leo, Todd and I stayed up drinking, eating oreos, and talking about STDs. I stayed up later than either of them, for that matter, and went to bed around 3:30 or so.
