Winter Break
Jan. 2nd, 2007 09:56 amI had a good vacation, overall, and a much needed one, although I meant to go into work more than I did. I did get to the gym fairly often, which paid off with my fitness assessment from yesterday. According to the little electronic device that the trainer used, I am 6.1% body fat (take that, body caliper!), which he seemed amazed by, but said is very low. I'm not sure his amazement is entirely complimentary...
I was supposed to dd on Saturday and Sunday, but was only half successful, as I started drinking as soon as we arrived on Saturday, and stopped when I passed out. I only remember bits and pieces from the evening in general, and there are large chunks missing. One of the missing portions was my experience as a canvas for Nicole and Jess. I've always enjoyed being drawn/written on, and certainly there've been worse reprecussions to my drinking overmuch, but it was a little awkward to be informed of getting out of the pool on Sunday.
I did a much better job on Sunday evening, spending most of the party counseling friends and opening bottles. I like being helpful. After the party, I went to Jason's with Anthony and was even more helpful, though I did drink there, and ended up spending the night, which I don't care for. Finally, yesterday, I went for my fitness assessment and played Marvel Ultimate Alliance with Jason, Dennis, and Jon. Not the most productive day I could have had, but okay.

Date: 2007-01-03 01:21 am (UTC)I'm also surprised that you are still alive at 6.1%. That is very low. Low to the point where I'd wonder about eating disorders. At least, that's what I remember. Marathon runners are in the less than 6% range.
Either way, you're quite handsome and obviously in very good condition (I saw your trixie). Gives me a little inspiration to try harder myself.
