Monday - Got up, headed down to school, took the final. It was hard. The multiple choice was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, but I got creamed on the short answer, and barely finished my essay. I think I did alright, but we'll just have to wait and see. It was raining when I got out, and my pants were fairly soaked by the time I got home, so I took them off in the doorway along with my shoes when I got home. Spent most of the rest of the day in just my shirt and undies, poking about online. I napped for a little while, then got dressed before Ken came home. We had been supposed to go to a sex party downtown - 20 rooms, condoms and lube provided, but he was feeling a little tired, and didn't want to go out in the weather. Honestly, I was only mildly disappointed that we weren't going, though I would have liked to have been notified sooner. Instead, Justin was picking up greek food, and we were going to watch movies at his place. I had no desire to watch movies, but given that I'd just be sitting home poking about online, what difference did it make if I did it at home or with movies going on in the background? They got X-Files and Batman: Dark Knight, and of course I read the synopsis for both online within the first 5 min. X-Files was pretty run of the mill. Dark Knight was 1) LONG, and 2) decent. I didn't go gaga over it because of a couple of inconsistencies. The boys wanted ice cream afterwards, so I walked over to the corner store and picked them up some dulce de leche. On the drive home, I mentioned to Ken how normally, when movies/books have a philosophical point to make, they beat you over the head with it, and even worse, bend/break probability to make it happen. I said that DK did a remarkable job, but still engaged in that a little bit. This started a huge almost-argument about me being hyper-critical, and not able to just enjoy anything. Could have been worse.
