Under Pressure
Dec. 11th, 2008 08:21 pmWednesday - I guess it finally settled in that I'm about to start finals. I got up with Ken and drove him down to the train station for his trip, then went home and studied. I did practice essay after practice essay, then crashed, then got up and did more essays. I had to leave for rehearsal at 5:30, which turned out to be a waste of time, but I communicated to Miah that I could do the morning show on Saturday, and just not the evening one. She thanked me for making the drive up, and then I drove down to pick Ken up. His train was late, so I ended up waiting for a good 30 min. or so. He'd eaten on the train (they had a vegan burger!), so I made myself some food when we got home. I studied a little longer, still not really getting the Battle of the Forms. Couldn't sleep at all. Kept thinking about my finals, and how I should have just pursued that entry-level job from the other year, and how I wouldn't even be in debt if I dropped out now, but mad my parents would be if I failed out, and how mad they would be if I quit, and maybe I could just tap out and come back next semester, or maybe a million other things. Finally fell asleep sometime past the point that "late" becomes "early."
