Neighborhood Dinner

Monday - Ken went off to work in the morning, and a little later than that, I headed off to class. His mum was up when I left, and I was going to offer her my keys, but that would have left me with no way to get back inside. She seemed perfectly content to sit inside, so I showed her how to use the Wii and headed off. On the break between classes, I headed back home, where she was boiling some broth to make pasta with. I offered to share the pasta I was making for my lunch, and we did that instead. I felt a little bad that I spent my lunch break sitting in my room with my laptop, instead of entertaining her or similar, but she didn't seem upset. Back down to school, and to Civ. Pro. tutoring. When I got back, went out grocery shopping for dinner at Nelson's. We were supposed to being salad fixins, and maybe something else. We went to Henry's, where they were out of asparagus, but we picked up everything else, made one more stop, and headed over. I munched on the nuts from the home-made chex mix while we waited, and talked we chit chatted about this and that. Nelson jokingly made the offer for me to be his personal assistant - 3 hrs/week for $100/week. Had a couple drinks but not too many, ate a boca burger, a roll, some potatoes and some veggies for dinner. Not bad. Rinsed some of the dishes, helped put stuff away, headed home, went to sleep.
