Thanksgiving Week - I don't really remember much from here. Ironically, I made it to both my Property class at 9:20 on Monday, and Crim. 4hrs later. Not so much on Tuesday when I only had Crim.
In further irony, I didn't have any classes on Wednesday, but still had to go down to school, since that was the only time the Honors Instructor could meet. The meeting was very informative, so that was a plus. I did, however, eat pretty much a whole Tofurkey that morning, minus the stuffing in the middle. Wednesday night, we went over to Lisa's house for Pre-Thanksgiving. At the after-party from the show, she mentioned that her family always does a Pre-TG, since they have to work on the big day, and they invite their friends and the like. I'm thinking that it's a lot like Aimee & Anthony's Orphan TG, so we bring a bottle of wine and head over. Except that we're the only non-family there, no one else is even vegetarian, and Lisa made a tofu turkey, 3/4 of the pies vegan, vegan potatoes, rolls, gravy...amazing. I hadn't had anything except the tofurkey at 7am, so I was kind of hungry, but I did okay (for me). I had one plate of food plus a second helping of tofu-turkey, and just one slice of pie (per pie). We watched "Idiocracy", Lisa's bf and I did the dishes, and we walked home. They offered us leftovers, but I know myself, and they wouldn't even have survived the walk home, much less the night in the fridge. Universal was doing a special early "Crave", and my friend Mark said he might go. Ken also said he might go initially, but he got all sleepy-tired. I almost tapped out myself, but since Mark was going, I went as well. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), we were a little late in getting there, and there was a stupid under-age girl trying to get in with a friend's ID. The bouncer wanted her to spell the last name on what was supposed to be her id, and she couldn't. Dumb dumb dumb. Even dumber, she didn't know when to quit. We made it in with just enough time to get one drink. I felt very social, because I kept recognizing people inside. Saw Sean (yes, that Sean), and gave him my number. He was going to Flick's and Rich's, but I declined. It was good to talk to Mark, because we'd been chatting on A4A for several months, and just never found a time or place to hang out. Left there around 12:30, headed home, stayed up for another little while longer, climbed into bed.
