Election Day

Tuesday - I had turned in the assignment that was due Monday morning on Monday evening, and was more than a little disturbed to get an e-mail from Joe telling me they couldn't open it in that format. Sent it in another two formats, just in case, and turned in a physical copy. Headed up to the Che after class, and helped out there. There wasn't much to do at first, but things picked up really quickly. The seitan was freakin' awesome, and I felt really good about keeping things moving. Finally left around 6:50, with two sammiches and bunches more seitan. Ate most of the seitan on the way home, of course, and had one of the sammiches. I pulled up the CNN election resuts - Obama had already won by the time I got there, and Prop 8 was in the lead. Only 4% of precincts reported, so I kept thinking it was going to shift any minute. Thought the same thing at 20%....50%.....80%.....98%.......started drinking at some point, threw up, kept drinking. I just couldn't believe it was actually happening. Picked up Ken and Dallas from the concert - I wanted to stay up until the votes were final, but Ken convinced me to go to bed eventually.
