Pumpkin Bust

Thursday - Class was fairly uneventful, and I did some studying until it was time to meet my mentor. I was just on time, instead of super early, which was good because he was a few minutes late. We got the cream cheese fried wontons to start, and then he got the buddha's feast and I had some sort of stir-fry incorporating fish, shrimp, and squid. I wasn't really impressed by either of them, but I'm glad I ordered them, to satisfy my curiosity. We ended up chatting for about 2 hrs, and then I headed home. We didn't do much there, mostly just killed time until it was time for him to go to poker, and for me to go to the Pumpkin Carving SDYP event. Once again, I was just on time instead of early, and once again, that was a very good thing, since no one else was there, either. I helped make the salad, and put things out, which prompted Trez to opine "You bottoms are a real blessing." lol. I was a little upset that the thing wasn't better attended...mostly board, with maybe 4 other people? Jeff showed up later, and we had some drunken conversation, though I don't really remember what. Brett talked a little about Jason having a crush on me, and sent him a text letting him know Ken would be out of town. I'd actually really like to sleep with Brett, but I don't think the feeling is mutual. Headed home before I got too drunk. Ken was still up when I got home, but I really hadn't eaten, except for a few walnuts at the party, so I made some pasta. By the time it was finished, he had already gone to bed. I hesitated, but climbed in, and he reached for me. Swell!
