Making Up, Or Something Like It
Oct. 14th, 2008 02:22 pmMonday - Ken sent another couple e-mails in the morning, apologizing for the day before...even sent a lolcat/ferret valentines thing...I wrote a couple more drafts, each less snarky than the last. I was really happy with one of them, but my computer deleted it just as I was moving towards the "send" button. Re-wrote what I could of it, and finally sent it out. More apologies ensued, and a couple half apologies that I should have called him on. I had started feeling ill during the day, and ended up not going to Contracts tutoring because I thought I might throw up. I stopped at the store on the way home, but didn't buy anything because they were too busy. Ken had left for Sacramento before I got there, so when I got home, I worked on my outline, drank a bunch of water, took a few tylenol, then headed out for Baja Betty's. I had hoped to fine THLA/PrideLaw there, and use my $10/off coupon. I called Jeff to see if he wanted to join me, but he had Choir practice. Nobody was there from THLA, and the place was busy, so I sat down at the bar. The bartender wasn't happy that I wasn't actually paying, but gave me the burrito anyway. I headed over to TJ's after that...splurged and bought a bottle of vodka, soy chorizo, as well as my usual pasta. Back at home, I was very disappointed by both the burrito and the chorizo, but I ate them both anyway, and didn't manage to get either of them up. Had a couple drinks, went to bed.
