Vegan Dismissal

Friday - There was no Contracts in the morning, so I didn't make it to Property tutoring, either. I headed in a little early, started studying, but went out when it was time to get lunch for the seminar. I think the lady out there was the same one that I'd been corresponding with. There was a gluten-free option, but no vegan one. On the one hand, I felt bad - she'd obviously remembered that someone had a request, and just forgotten what that request was for. I sent her an e-mail thanking her for trying. That being the second time this week that this has happened, it put kind of a dark spin on the rest of my day. I almost didn't stay for Criminal tutoring, and really shouldn't have. We had to move to the Roy Bell reading room, which eats up sound. I was hungry when I finally got home, but had a drink instead of food, since I didn't know what Ken wanted to do for dinner. I asked him about his day when he got home, and he asked about mine. When I told him about getting shafted on the lunch thing AGAIN, his response was "Oh. Aside from that, how was your day?". I gave him a blank look for a moment, then just said "Everything was fine." We didn't really talk for the rest of the night. He left a few minutes later, saying "Going to Staples" as the door closed, and "they were out" when he came back. I was good, and didn't point out that I told him to call before he went. Same deal an hour or so later, when he said "Going to get dinner" on his way out. I ate the pasta I made, and worked on my legal brief. Matthew messaged me about going to Rich's, and sent a message back saying I'd love to go with them, but didn't hear back after that. Ken eventually sent a message via facebook saying he had been texting with Brandon all night about going to Rich's, but was going to bed. I slept on the couch soon after.
