I Argue All The Time
Sep. 28th, 2008 08:06 pmSaturday - Woke up before Jeremy, though not by much, and headed home. I'd meant to study all day, but I ended up just being hungover all day. Damn. I did manage to zap myself a little more, though, so that was good. I finally managed to start studying around 6, and Ken came home around 7. Naturally, I was excited to see him, but didn't really know what to do with that energy. I helped him unpack, and then he got online, and I went back to the living room to read my book. He came out a little while later, informing me that I should take my money out of WaMu. We ended up arguing, and the larger issue was the argument itself. He doesn't like arguing. I've actually been accused of enjoying it, but I at least concede that I don't mind it in the least. I maintain that, since he suffers directly from arguing (where I suffer indirectly), he should end them. Not concede defeat or whathaveyou, but just say "I don't like where this is headed, let's not talk about this right now." Of course, he doesn't see things this way, of course, and just said "It's not going to work, I'll be in our room." and left. Remembering our last argument, and his complaint that he always needed to chase me, I went after him. He seemed to just want to berate me, and I took a little of it, but put the kaibosh on it before it got too bad. Dallas came over, and everybody had a drink....then Dallas and Ken had a couple more...then Ken had a shot or two, and then they left for The Flame, where Joe Gauthreaux was playing. I studied, and got a text from Ken saying that no one was at The Flame, and could I maybe make a 3-way happen? I hit people up, but most people didn't even open my message. Ken came home, and also logged on, but had no more luck. I started drinking again, in anticipation of having sex, and BadKitty hit me up. I hesitated...a lot....but finally told him that I took serious issue with him trying to bb with me while I was single/negative. He was shocked, and said that he only bb'd with + folks. I dunno what to make of that. It was really late, but I finally found someone to come over, only to walk back to our room and find Ken passed out. Damn.
