Making My First Outline
Sep. 24th, 2008 11:14 amTuesday - Slept in late, then putzed about eating everything in the house. Couldn't find parking anywhere, and ended up being late to class. Bah. I also had to transfer my assignment from the sheets it was given on over to the scantron, and ended up turning it in late. I hope it still gets credit. Criminal Law was useful - the difference between Manslaughter and Murder in the second degree is the ACTUAL probability of the event happening. Likely to happen = Manslaughter. Certain to happen sooner rather than later/imminent - Murder 2. Trisha et al stayed to work on their exercises for Legal Skills, but I didn't have anything to work on, since I hadn't printed it yet. Stopped for a moment at Ralph's to pick up my cans of sauce, then headed home to study. I meant to do homework for several classes, but ended up starting my outline for contracts. That took a ridiculous amount of time. Of course, I also ate a bunch of chips and the like. Ken made us a wonderful dinner of stir-fried squash & rice, although the rice was too chewy for him. That was kind of my fault, for not giving a correct estimate on how long it would take to cook. I took a break for that, but went back to studying after. Ken played his poker game, though he didn't do terribly well at it, and came out to visit me often. Bedtime couldn't come soon enough.
