Leftover Cupcakes
Sep. 23rd, 2008 01:57 pmMonday - There were two different lunchtime meetings...I'd have been open to going to either, but they both had pizza, so whatever interest that I did have was abolished by my indignation. I had decided not to gamble on them having a vegan option, and brought a serving of pasta with me to school. I managed not to eat it on the way, but didn't trust myself no to eat it during class or similar. The walk back to my car was downright painless, thanks to Live Element's "In Your Head" and my mp3 player. Did my reading for Criminal Law, even though we didn't get to any of the cases therein. CivPro tutoring went on longer than prior, but it was very useful. Martha Wash sang me back to my car, but I was still quite happy that I didn't have therapy. I had mentioned to Ken that I was going to stop by CDC to find out more about Margaret, and also pick up some leftovers, but if he wanted, I would put that off until after dinner. He didn't say anything about it, so I headed straight home, but he was intent on watching TV, and nothing else. I really should have eaten dinner before going over, because I ate a fuckton of cupcakes and spiced nuts. The primary food item I'd gone over for was the sour cream dip, but that had been left out. Anthony and I chatted more about the arrangement that Ken and I have worked out. I don't really understand what he doesn't get about it, so I can't really explain it to his satisfaction. Got the details on Margaret - it had indeed been her boyfriend Brendan (Bren, for short) that was in a car accident shortly after dropping her off. Damn. Ken called, and got himself some Wendy's, and was just finishing it when I got back. I made myself some pasta, so as to have something real, and then sat on the couch while Ken alternated watching Hellboy and Heroes. Heroes made me ANGRY with how stupid some of it's people are (I'm looking at you, cheerleader!), and we never finished Hellboy. Went to bed later than expected, given that we were both very tired.
