Dance Class
Sep. 19th, 2008 08:38 pmThursday - Thought I left with plenty of time to get to school, and even chatted for a few minutes outside of class, since I saw kids still sitting in there. Y'know, until I walked around the side and saw Prof. Smythe lecturing. Whoops. I was only about 10 min. late, but I still missed both my seat and the sign in sheet. D'oh! It wasn't such a bad thing, really, as it finally prompted me to go to the Faculty Support office and mention that I'd missed it before. Went from there over to APA, where I took Katie's class for the first time in forever. It was okay. I suppose shouldn't have expected her to keep, or use the same music, but I kind of did. Doing crunches to Corona was nice, and so was the across the floor we did. Good to know I haven't gotten worse or anything. Then we had to go and do a lyrical combination. Blah. I'm going to go back, but it's just going to be me and April. From there, I jetted back to school, where I was again a few minutes late. The feedback session wasn't bad, but again, I would have been better served by just getting my paper back. Stopped at the store on my way home, and picked up vitamins and pasta sauce, then headed home. Ken had to stop at Rand's office to sign some papers, so I was still home before him. He left for poker, and I left for Amy's mom's dinner at Mandarin Dynasty. Ate a bunch of crunchies, chatted with folk, then headed back home. I had been going to maybe help out with prep for the weekend cooking, but Aimee was heading up to Carriage House. Michael sent a text inviting me out to Mo's, but I wasn't feeling it. Putzed about online for a little while, then finally laid down to wait for Ken. He didn't come home too late, but was just feeling cranky and sleepy. He'd seen a bobcat on his way home, but denied my claim that they were cute, instead calling them vicious and mean...just like me. Oh, drunk folk.
