Exes Are Awkward.

Friday - My morning class was canceled, so I had most of the day free. I ate too much, beat off, and did laundry before leaving for class. Found a (somewhat) surprisingly close space. The class I did have was simply phenomenal - challenging, but nothing we shouldn't have been ready for. I'm excited. Got home to find out that Ken had gotten the new condo - just waiting on the inspection. The sellers (some nice lesbians) don't actually have a place to move into just yet, so they might stay there for 30 more days, and just pay the mortgage for that amount of time. Ken want's to move in as quickly as possible, but I'm all over having them stay there and pay for it as long as they need to. He was having a little stress over going into debt for $280,000, so he got himself a pizza for dinner. Back at home, he made his pizza, ate that and watched the news, and laid down to nap. I poked about on the net for a bit, but eventually laid down with him. We were planning on going to Universal, but didn't wake up until almost 9. Since he was going to Montage, and I was going to Rich's, that didn't leave much time. I invited Matt to go with me, but he was calling it an early night, and I guess Brandon and Chris were also staying in...fortunately, Jeff sent me a text asking about the entry to Rich's, so I went with him. Let him borrow my Frog's tag to get in. We sat and watched the floor for a while, and he got texts from his friend Levi, who also happened to be there. We walked outside to meet him, only to find him standing there with Lucas, Jeff's ex. Awkward. Jeff seemed to handle it quite well - I would later find out that he got a lot of pleasure out of the look on Lucas's face when he realized that Jeff was there with me. Levi went to buy drinks for the three of them, and Jeff and Lucas engaged in that semi-snark that exes who did not part amiably sometimes do. I also talked with Lucas a bit...he seems to be doing quite well, living with Nate again, and going for his Masters. He did not mention the other "M" that, according to Jeff, he's been pursuing. Carlos showed up, along with an older, European friend of his, and pawned off the older friend on us. We went inside to dance, but the music wasn't very good, my shin hurt, and the floor wasn't crowded enough. Without any of those three, I would have, but all three together kept me off the floor. I felt bad for Jeff, because he clearly wanted very badly to dance, but opted to stay with me anyway. On the plus side, this did manage to get rid of the European guy. I only stayed out for a song or two, and then we hopped onto the floor. The music wasn't TERRIBLE, but it wasn't what I would call "good" either, and a number of the transitions were so bad that I could hear them. Ken texted at one point, mentioning that he could be up for a 3-way if I wanted to bring someone home. In specific, he was hoping I would bring Jeff home...Jeff is mostly a bottom, though, so that's not going to happen. I'm not so into getting boys for him, although in retrospect, I can't really expect to be the focus of the three-way unless I get the other boy. We danced for most of the night - I saw the trick that was massively more into Ken from last year. He was there with a cute friend, and the friend seemed to be making eyes at me, but I didn't feel comfortable hitting on him. I also saw Shaun, but Shaun apparently doesn't top, so I don't imagine that's ever going to happen. I was ready to leave several times, but I didn't want to leave Jeff there alone, unless he found company for the night. Of course, he wouldn't be "alone" in that case anyway, so no, I didn't want to leave him alone. We still ended up heading home just before closing. Ken was already home - he'd had a good night, only had a couple drinks, but got fairly tipsy from them. No sex, but it was late, so that was okay.
