Robert's Last Game

Thursday - I hadn't meant to, but the first thing I did in the morning was make (and eat) a big pot of quinoa. Damn. Putzed the day away, poking about on My Heroes and the like. Ken came home, and I was all puppy dog to see him, except that he wanted to be left alone for a little while, and the two didn't really mix. We ended up in a good spot, though. He left to go with Justin for happy hour at Universal, and I took off for D&D. Game was a lot of fun. It was Robert's last (in person) game with us, and he had printed up cards with our class abilities on them. Awwww...Ramses was also there, which was a lovely surprise. Game was fun, if just a touch slow for my taste. Got home a little before 12 to a very asleep Ken, but I'd drank so much diet coke I didn't get to sleep until 3ish. He'd gone to poker but only for an hour before coming home and poking about online.
