Got into work with a surprising amount of energy, but nothing to do. That quickly changed, on both fronts. The more work we had, the less desire I had to do it. I did manage to call my doctor's office, though the GLT site was down for most of the day. The girl on the phone seemed rather chagrined that I was so overdue for a checkup. Made my appointment for Friday, at any rate. They offered us OT, but I was hoping that I might have a certain Canadian care package waiting for me.....nope. Not a huge deal - I did eat too many oranges and carrots, though. Got cleaned up, laid down on the couch for a while. That crazy midday exhaustion hit me again. Finally got up, poked about the computer for a bit. An e-mail had gone out earlier, asking if anyone would be willing to post flyers for something at The Center - I asked Ken if he had any idea whatsoever, even as general as "stay in/go out". Nope. Pushing the issue, I finally got it out of him that he wanted to keep things "Low key". I'm not sure that always means stay in, but it has so far. I should have done that, or worked OT or something, but I didn't. When Ken got home, we talked about our days, and then he made a salad, watched Voyager, and talked to Justin. I ate oatmedough. I had some porn up, and Ken mentioned (jokingly) that I was only interested in large penises, and brought up his, and how he was only just now realizing how great it is. His ego is large enough, thank you, he doesn't need to go around thinking he's John Holmes. I gently reminded him that large dicks, while lovely, were not all that uncommon. For that matter, larger dicks than his are not that uncommon. I tried to start making tofu nuggets - brick of tofu, spicky marinade. Bake. Ken talked to Justin again, and went over there for Taco Bell. I have no problem eating the tofu....only I did it in a ramekin, and an hour and half after I put it in, it was still in it's broth. Ate it anyway, despite having eaten more than enough oatmedough to feed a small village. Started feeling guilty about fitness - with my elbow wonky from the Wii, I can't do pushups, so I decided to go down to the gym. My Mp3 player was out of juice, and I've learned not to try a workout with out it, so that added another hour onto my time.....it was 8:30 by the time I was completely ready, and I almost tapped out even then on account of the sheer lateness, but I didn't. Ken was almost done watching Beowulf at Justin's, so I just let him know I was going and did. Workout was hard, but good. Naturally, i was tempted to stop every 5 minutes or so, but Madonna (Get Together), Jacque Lu Cont (Remix of Get Together), Thunderpuss (Remix of It's Not Right, But It's Okay), and Basement Jaxx (remix of Cold Shoulder) got me through it. Chatted with a gent in the locker room about fitness, then headed home. Ken was already getting ready for bed by the time I got in, so I just brushed my teeth, got cleaned up, and went to bed.
We started talking about Justin's trip to Palm Springs. He'd gone with Nelson and Jay, and Nelson was mean, and Jay was a whore. I have serious trouble with Ken calling anyone a whore, and told him so. He seemed very insulted by this, and said it wasn't so much about the number of men that Jay had been with, but about the shady way he went about getting them (Jay is the guy I gave head to at Montage). I had to agree with that....and didn't think until later about Ken being the Lord Master of Shady Sex. Anyway, I got the feeling that he might have wanted sex, and I would probably have been good, but I was full, and that would've just been uncomfortable. The issue never came up, though. We just snuggled, and it was nice.
