Warm Fuzzy Weekend

Saturday - Laid in bed for a little while, then put on coffee, Ken made us a lovely breakfast of GimmeLean and tomatoes, and started rounding up the troops. While we were waiting, I read a rather disturbing LJ entry, which I am hoping is not as obvious as it seems. Headed out to Mo's with Brandon and Chris - the boys all got burgers, and I ate the fruit that came with Ken's. Saw Jonathan (some guy that Ken hooked up with at a Christmas party once), the boys had a couple drinks, and then we moved the party over to Flick's for pool. Brian joined us, and it was lovely chatting with him - only sober this time. He is a big fan of my "Own It" philosophy, and seemed to be thinking of something specific, though he declined to go into detail. I also saw Collen (gent I hooked up with shortly before meeting Ken), who has put on a few pounds since last year. Sadly didn't have enough time between going home and Dallas's housewarming to nap - it would've done us a world of good. The party itself was fun and chill - I'd been kind of witty all afternoon, and not drinking. Once I started drinking, it started to turn from wit to snark, until Ken mentioned that I was getting sassy. I got a bit tipsy, and ate a bit much, but it was just broccoli, so whatev. We left the party at about 8, and decided to nap before heading out for the night, but it was so warm we just stayed in and slept. Very much the right decision in retrospect.
Sunday - The boys were going to the beach, but not until 1:30. I had meant to go into work nice and early, but ended up putzing around at home for a while. Almost didn't go in, but opted in at the last minute. It was harder to get going this time than last, but I eventually found my groove. The boys weren't sure of the plans for after the beach, so I asked Ken to call home when he was leaving, and we'd figure it out from there. I got home around 5-ish, and drunken Ken got home about 15 minutes later. So much for calling. He was kind of cranky, and laid down for a nap. It was kind of all I could do not to pounce him (he was naked), so I wasn't unhappy at all when Marcus called. We talked for longer than I had anticipated, though it was a pleasant chat. Ken was just waking up when I got back, and was significantly less drunk and exponentially more cranky. I still wanted to rim him. He eventually took a shower, which helped his mood considerably. David was at The Loft, but no one else was responding, and Ken didn't really feel like going out at that point, anyway. We called Justin, and brought Thai food over to his place. Had a decent talk with Justin and Ken about me scaring people into lying, or causing them to clam up. I don't like it, but I don't know what to do about it, either. I had a couple drinks, which hit me SUPER hard because I hadn't eaten. Drunken binge ensued. Really as far as my drunken (or even non-drunken) binges go, it wasn't so bad. About a half cup of rice, 2 summer rolls, carrots & guac....oh, and a whole thing of hummus. Still not so bad, until you get to that last part, and even then it could've been worse.I came home and passed out before Ken. I woke up a little after 4, thought about going in to work, but opted to just get a drink of water and lay down again. I was rewarded by feeling Ken thump up against me. Super! We fucked for a (very) little while, and then he had to pee, and then he had a headache. I finished myself off, since I hadn't cum since Thursday - I hit my chin! Ken hadn't cum since the Thursday before, and I don't know how he hasn't exploded yet. Just went to sleep after that.
In retrospect, it was a really really decent weekend. It's been a while since Ken's been Good Boyfriend, and I hadn't even realized it went away until it came back.
