Another stellar day at work, and my Monthly Report confirmed that I'm getting absolutely everything done Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. It's mostly thanks to operational improvements, the Queue Continuum, etc... and them not firing me any of the many times they could have. I thought about shows from the 80's and 90's, where they weren't hits at first, but the network gave them guidance and patience until they bloomed. On the one hand, this is where I expected myself to start, being a lawyer working as a paralegal. On the other, better late than never? And I finished the 15 hour MCLE I started yesterday. I browsed through their learning library, but everything is focused on knowledge for the already proficient, nothing to help become proficient. I found a guide to the CA Style Manual, so hopefully that will come in handy.

Dave messaged me that Sandor's dog will need to be put down, but vets and the border were closed for Good Friday. Or something. I misunderstood and offered to pay for it wherever they could go. She was in Mexico, vets & border closed. It led to a brief discussion about my anticipation of the heat death of the universe, and the reckoning I will bring if there is any sort of afterlife. I also talked more with Justin, and encouraged him to go to law school. He's proud of the progress I've made. As long as my graph is moving in the right direction, it's adequate.

Julian sent me something on Messenger, but even though FB has apparently decided to allow communication while in Jail, I don't want to use any FB products until I'm free.
