Cat Connection Clarification

thepnutgalleryI had a reasonably productive morning, then cleaned up some when I got a text that Tim and Pupple were coming over. I wanted to have "Berth" waiting for him when he walked in, but Rational Me won out until I realized he might be able to help describe the emotions it conveys. He couldn't. I closed my door so Pupple wouldn't disturb Lady Miss Friday, and Tim was crashing on the couch when I peeked out later.
He was gone by the time I was out of work, and I was surprised to discover I'd gone through half of the carts I bought last. It mostly just added to my frustration of never getting high "enough." But since I prefer to keep well-stocked, I ordered another 6 carts, noting in the comments that any heavy indica swaps would be fine. I drank while I waited, and it was so unusual. They messaged me asking for ID, which they're supposed to already have on file, and I couldn't find my wallet. Fortunately, I kept some cash separate and had other ID. Then there were some additional emailed hoops I had to jump through and I didn't understand why they were swapping between emails and texts. They called me to say they were out of Alpine's again, and I told them any heavy indica swaps were fine. Again. The whole process took about 5 hours and they told me from now on their carts will be 5/20. Good to know? I guess I should have doubled my order, but I've put The Quest on the backburner, not abandoned it.
Stanford messaged me while I waited, just checking on what all was going on in my world. He asked about my religion and my current rescues. I told him about The Girls and how Tim saving Lady Miss Friday led to me contributing so much to Tim, which led to Tim et al being able to push me into rehab after several 5150s in a row. So not only is saving animals the meaning of life, in this case it saved my life. My memory of my time on 33rd keeps getting grimmer.
