Possible Solution
Oct. 11th, 2020 02:11 pmI gave Lady Miss Friday her breakfast, napped a bit more, then laid next to her. I felt more than a little irritated that I had Monday off, because I was eager to get back to work. Find a job you love, I suppose. Tim messaged me, wanting me to come down and walk Pupple. There is life outside my apartment, however much I might pretend otherwise. I took care of a couple items on my To-Do List, including putting on pants and finally buying the Amelie Soundtrack off Amazon. Still no clue what the problem was, and just a little irritated I had to resort to giving Amazon money. Megan was delighted that I remembered, so there's that.
Tim had just returned from his walk when I got there, and it's always as wonderful as it is surprising how happy Pupple is to see me. We saw Chris, he wants to get together again, but sans Julian. I guess for all that Chris handled the situation masterfully, it was still a burden. Back on his boat, Tim mostly talked politics, I mostly sat there staring at Pupple. Tim went through some old papers, and unfortunately, he misread his ticket for displaying the incorrect disabled parking tag. You can get a fee waiver, but this was well over a year ago, so time's up. He needed groceries as well, and while I offered to buy them for him, he just needed a ride to the store since his tags are expired. I was very tempted to buy vodka, especially since they sell handles of raspberry for $10, but as I've mentioned, I'm trying to cut down my alcohol (and therefore weight), and I knew if I bought that it would start a flood of spending.
Potmatess was having a B2G1 on edibles, and a sale of 3/55 on 1g carts. I decided the other day that I should maybe do carts + edibles, and this seemed a perfect opportunity. I'm not sure their discount worked out like it was supposed to, since it was $120 for the 3g + 3g. And then they tried to charge me the full $150 when the driver showed. The $120 is still crazy cheap for how much I bought, and I've got the animal, I've got the beast on a leash these days. Not taking any chances, I took a Seroquel, 3 watermelons, and smoked the Northern Lights from Alpine. It was amazing. And even after the Seroquel and edibles must have worn off, I was still floating.
I beat off, but was disappointed in my cumshot....until I got up to get cleaned up and felt it dripping from my ear. Mary called, something about her wanting her ancient, if famous, joke back. I did, unfortunately, also eat quite a bit. I was going to make the last of the soy curls, but I discovered the moths have been nesting there. Good to know before my next shipment arrives, at least. Tofu and pasta and pretzels and sour candy....the banana bread, the orange slices, the cereal, the bowl of yogurt, the peanut butter sandwich, the pancakes with gooseberry jelly, the scrambled eggs with toast....I pounced on a few more songs from Lucifer, and we'll give them a listen tomorrow, since Stoned Squeak can't always be trusted.
