thepnutgalleryWoke up on time fine, but ended up vomiting again. At least I hadn't eaten anything? Stomach was grumbly enough that I couldn't even drink coffee, much less have breakfast or similar. Work is slowing down, but given my illness, I'm totally okay with that. Salt Ashes came out with a new song, and I couldn't for the life of me remember the other single by her that I love, but I finally looked it up (Save It), and recalled how much I love it.
An older gent from Palm Springs messaged me in the afternoon, wondering about my involvement with WCAB (Worker's Compensation Appeals Board), and mentioned that he saw my name on their list of beneficiaries. This is the first I've heard of them, and he suggested I message some recently created account on FB that was logged in to Messenger despite not having a FB. It's probably a scam, but I didn't see any harm in finding out. Naturally, after going through a few motions, the fake profile started asking for $750 "shipping," to be paid through Paypal. I get that a lot of logic goes out the window when large sums of money are being talked about but it's just such a stretch that government office would message someone on FB and ask to be paid through Paypal. Both the rando and the fake profile kept messaging me all night, but I ignored them.
I managed to get a sammich down in the afternoon, and then had a tortilla with a couple "meatballs" and watched Community after work. I smoked and drank, and Tim asked to come over in the evening. He's still struggling financially, and Tami is bassically a weight on him right now. He cooked up some potatoes, though I couldn't much of them down. Eh, it'll be a snack for tomorrow.
