I left even earlier than usual in the morning, but was astounded to find quite a few spaces available. Maybe that'll be a new thing for me. Work was pretty slow, though I managed to stay busy at least through my lunch break. I emailed about getting drug counseling, and about a few places to live. I'll certainly take Patrick's if I can't find anything else in the next couple weeks, but I'd prefer to have my own place, even if it costs more. I did email the place on Pennsylvania, since they hadn't called me back, asking about making 2.5 times the rent instead of 3 times. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. They actually did get back to me in the affirmative, but I don't have proof of my slightly higher income level, and won't have it until the 12th. In the immortal words of Miss Clairy Browne, that would be Far Too Late.

I canceled tomorrow's trick. Robert is a really insanely attractive man, but I'm just not there right now. I read at home for a while, and then zipped over to Ralph's to get burgers and such. I'm kind of regretting even signing up for the potluck, to be honest, but it's $11. I'll live. The birthday wishes already started rolling in, but I don't much feel like celebrating. I found a spot in Hillcrest for 1350, so I'll look at that maybe over the weekend. That would be a huge chunk of my income, but I can make it work, especially if I don't stop escorting. I couldn't sleep, even with my meds, so it was after midnight before I finally crashed.
