I should be happier
Nov. 7th, 2007 10:51 amI was so happy that Ken came home yesterday that I went straight there, instead of running any errands I might have on the way home. He mentioned, when I talked to him on the phone, that he wanted to do something fun, because he had been cooped up in insurance world for the past 3 days. I downed a cup of coffee as I was leaving work, just so I would be up for it. Unfortunately, by the time I got out of work, he was sleepy from his lunch and Cosmo, so just wanted to nap with me. As nice as it was to lay next to him, I had things I wanted to be doing, so I wasn't in the best of moods.
We finally got up around 5, and went to the gym. My workout nearly killed me, which I wasn't expecting. I started expecting to go Level 20 for 22 min., but dipped down to L. 19, and then to L. 18, before finally getting a grip and popping back up to 20. 384 calories overall - not my best, but also not horrible. We went home, showered, and bought materials to make Lettuce Wraps. After dinner, we went to Martini's with Michael - chatting with him was fun, but towards the end I felt like the only sober guy in the room...because I was the only sober guy in the room. Went home, ended up not having sex, due more to me than Ken, but sleep was good.
