Happy World Vegan Day!
Nov. 1st, 2007 07:53 amI don't think I'm doing anything to celebrate...except, you know, be vegan...
I was kind of disappointed in my co-workers yesterday - not a single person brought in Halloween treats. Not even non-vegan ones! One person brought in candy, but that was it. After work, I went home and ate a fairly large amount of veggies - too many to try to seduce Ken when he got home. He was upset about his car again when he got home, and took a nap, while I chatted on A4A. Got hit up by a really hot gent, but had to turn him down, at least for the day. Also had a very cryptic message from one guy, but had to leave before I could investigate further.
Ken seemed to be in an even worse mood when he woke up, but quickly snapped out of it. We took my car down to Mo's, since his is being wonky, and met up with Kenny. Shortly thereafter, Matthew joined us, and was kind enough to buy me a drink...well..several drinks.....I thought we were having a good time, but I guess I was salty again, so Ken decided it was time to go home. Really, this was for the best, as I was getting a bit sloppy with my conversational topics. We talked about it, and I found it very frustrating to be asked to apologize for being salty when he couldn't give me a specific example of how I had been. One other plus to our conversation was that I communicated to Ken how upset I was about Sunday - I guess he didn't get my subtle hint from the other day, which was not really so subtle. Certainly not the worst night I've had from drinking too much.
