"Freshies"? How Fucking Old Are You?

thepnutgalleryWoke up several times thoroughout the night on Saturday, and finally stopped fighting it and got up at 6am. Ate the bread salad, sun-dried tomato and olive dip, and the spinach dip from the night before, even though I wasn't really hungry. I knew I wouldn't be any good for sex in the morning anyway, so I wasn't really concerned about it. Mushy as it sounds, I was reluctant to leave cuddling, and almost stopped eating to go back to it. Finally did, and slept for all of another hour, before we both got up, and started solidifying plans for the day. Ken wanted to go out to breakfast, and then to Harrah's, and I wanted to go to Matthew's BBQ. Went to brunch at Cafe One Three - no vegan options, but I was still full from eating banquet food, so that was actually a plus. Picked up Nikki, Dallas, and Justin, and headed up to the casino. Passed through a lot of smoke from the fire on the way up, as well as a lot of traffic. I had suggested, before we left San Diego, that I might just stay home, since I really only go to the casino for the diet coke, and then on the way that they just drop me off at Matthew's BBQ, and meet me later, but Ken wouldn't hear of either. The last time we went up there, we were there for about an hour, so I sucked it up, and told myself to be a team player. 4 HOURS later, they're finally, reluctantly ready to leave, and we head over to the BBQ.
The BBQ was largely over by the time we got there, but there was still some food left over, and Matthew and Allen made chicken taquito-type things, and fried banana rolls - I couldn't have either, but Matthew grilled up some tofu and veggies for me, and I was a happy monkey. I also liked the music streaming from the internet radio, and got my groove on in the living room. We didn't stay long, on account of everyone but me being tired, and also opted not to go to Mo's with Michael. Back home, I ran back to Casa de Casa to pick up my mail and leftovers - Bread Salad! I also ate a couple cupcakes and brownies, which I guess wasn't for me, but I didn't know that at the time. Came home, almost ate too much bread salad, but not quite, and made love with Ken before we went to bed. Our sex is usually pretty rockin', but it's been a while since we'd really made love, so that was awesome. Cuddling, which of course, has been really really super lately, was really really super, as expected.
