I've been feeling quite down lately - pretty much every day since Saturday, with the exception of Monday, has been like that. It's nothing specific, just one of those "failure at life" type moments that I think everyone gets, and you want to sit and cry and eat rum balls. My moment seems to have been going for a few days now, but whatever. I feel horrible that I had to cancel my score for the LSAT, and it puts a lot of pressure on December's test. Nothing for it but to man-up, study more, take more practice exams, and knock it out.

In spite of going to the gym twice this week (actually three times, but only working out twice), I feel vastly too fat to weigh 143 - surely that was just some mistake of the scale, and I'm really much much more than that.

I went to the dentist yesterday, and I'm fucked. I need two root canals, a couple fillings, and deep cleaning with some new drug to help fight gum disease. Oh, and my insurance still doesn't recognize me as being on the plan. To give you an idea of how bad things are, normal gums are between 1-3 mm from the tooth. Mine are just about all between 4-6 mm. Don't do drugs, kids. Don't do drugs. By "do drugs", of course I mean "throw up".

That's actually one of the things that has me down - with my teeth in the state they're in, I can't eat till I pop, even occaisonally, anymore. I was on my way to giving that up anyway - it's been a while since I've done it, and the real bad part about it is that if fucks with my digestive system for pretty much the rest of the day, so I can't have sex. Maybe I can find constructive habits to replace the self-destructive ones, since I seem to be rapidly running out of viable options. Who would've thought that self-destructive habits could have negative consequences?

Ken and I went to the Gay Life Travel Expo yesterday, just to support such things, and entered to win a bunch of contests, and chatted with the vendors and the like. After that, we went to Candelario's apartment and played Simpson's Treehouse of Horror Monopoly. It was fun, though it DRAGGED, even after we started building on our properties. C-man kept making double-entendres, but I pretty much didn't bite for any of them. After the game, since Ken didn't have to work in the morning, he went to Bourbon St. I was going to go with him, but I was tired, and would have just been a stick in the mud. He wasn't gone long, and though we still haven't had sex, we did get some awesome cuddle time in - awesome enough that I almost called in sick today at work.
