Ben again had a tour scheduled, and again cancelled it. This time they said they’d try to find replacements for us, and not charge him if they could find it. Technically, this is required of anticipatory breach anyway, though many places will charge a non-refundable deposit, or an “administrative fee” to get around it. We did opt to go ashore eventually. The tender was longer than Cabo’s, but was an enjoyable ride despite the exhaust fumes. Or maybe I got high off them, and so stopped noticing. We walked around the various tourist shops, of which there are many. I bought Todd some 100% Kona coffee, because he’d asked for it. I thought about getting Tim something, as well, but I’m still far too conflicted over him. I guess one of my Foursquare Check-Ins had made it to Facebook, and my mom asked why I was in Hawaii. I asked “Why not?” We made it back long before the last tender, and the line we knew would be associated with it, but the boat ended up having some sort of mechanical problem anyway. Couldn’t get one of the boats all the way back in or somesuch. We went to the LGBT meeting, and then to dinner, and finally to the music trivia in Explorer’s. Ben had been drinking all afternoon, had wine with dinner, and then another drink at trivia. I’d gone up to get a diet coke, and happened upon Oliver in the casino. Oliver had been making eyes at me since we got on board, but I’d not had the balls to approach him since then. He’s from Serbia, has a partner (open relationship), and will be in San Diego on April 9th. Huzzah! I’d missed most of the trivia questions, but helped Ben with the last of them. He won a bottle of champagne, which he later gave to Regina and Jennifer in the hallway. We fucked before he fell asleep. I felt bad, because I’m just not a cuddler. I woke up at 2 again, and this time popped a sleeping pill immediately, and eventually got back to sleep.
