Mar. 3rd, 2013 11:45 amI had been supposed to get together with Chris for a last hurrah, with Chip maybe playing camera man, but I was in no condition to fuck for camera. Also, Chip is pretty good about not being jealous, but having to see me, especially with someone as passionate as Chris, might've been hard for him. We packed, scheduled the shuttle to the airport, and he ran to get cough syrup.
The flights were largely uneventful. I popped a sleeping pill after Fiji, and slept for most of the second trip. I'd hoped to catch an earlier flight from LA to SD, but I didn't know where to go or who to talk to, and there was a large waiting list of people who actually needed it already. I chatted with a couple from Edmonton, Canada on the flight down. The lady's husband had been an attorney for years. Big Eric texted at the airport, asking if I was up for Mo's. Sure! I went grocery shopping when I got home, ate some real food, waited for Big Eric to be done with his apartment showing. At 5:30, I saw a post from him that he was at Mo's with Leo and Dax. I know what it's like to not have time to think of everyone, so I just hurried over. Leo was kind enough to buy me a drink, since I still had Aussie dollars in my wallet. I saw Michael Hunt, as well as tall Michael I'd made out with at Rich's a while back. We weren't there very long, but the one drink (and two that I had at home) got me pretty tipsy.
Big Eric had just bought a Kinect, and Dance Central, so I headed over there. It was a lot of fun, and nice to play with someone who didn't already know all the choreography. I also got to meet his new cat, Willie. Eventually, the alcohol and travel time (just 20 hours this time) caught up with me, and I headed home.
