thepnutgalleryWoke up at 7:55 with Gene still in my bed. Left him sleeping and zipped in to work without even making lunch. Hungover as all hell and equally randy. There was no way I was going to the gym, so I went home, ate a couple seitan salads and jerked off. Was still randy after, but at least I could function now. Gene had left a nice note on my pillow saying what a great time he'd had. Awwwww.
Nikki texted that she was having a last minute birthday celebration at Betty's at 7:30, and Brian wanted to go out to Flick's. I initially cancelled Flick's, but Brian begged, so I said I'd consider it. Our server at Betty's was one of the worst waiters I've ever met. Nikki actually had to waive her arms to get him to come over, and then the drink orders took forever to come out. Meanwhile, we're watching him give some girls at another table a back rub. I put in $10 for my drink. Covers that, puts a couple bucks towards the birthday girl with expensive taste.
Brian wanted to meet at my place at 10. I initially hadn't been sure I was gonna make it, even though I saw a post from Bianca hinting that she'd be performing Florence + The Machine's "Spectrum." By the time dinner was done, though, I was feeling much better, so I hurried home and had a couple drinks while I cleaned my room. While I waited for Brian, a young man with a severe limp came to the door asking for donations to CALPIRG. Going door to door sucks, so I gave $10. Brian finally got there and we headed to Flick's. It started out fairly sparse, but was packed within 30 min. I saw Kade and his friend Michael, as well as Derrick and a very very handsome new friend of his. Chatted with a tipsy Ryan - I guess he's back online. Reluctantly introduced him to Derrick and friend, a little worried they would take him home. It felt really strange to be there without Ashley.
We moved on to Rich's, and Brian asked me for a drink. I've noticed this to be a trend with him. He gets the first ($2) drink at Flick's, and will sometimes even get the second. Then asks his friends to buy the first ($9) round at Rich's. It might not even be intentional. I bought him one, but declined to have another myself. Except then Joe Phillips was in the VIP booth, celebrating his birthday, and offered me a drink there. Oh, ok. He got pulled down to dance, so I took my drink outside. Richard Britton was there, though I don't remember what we talked about.
Bianca did indeed perform Spectrum, though it was just ok. She does an excellent job hosting, though, and tonight was no exception. A couple people got boo'd on stage, and Bianca called out the bitches doing the booing. I thanked her for it outside. I gave Brian a ride to my place, since he was so drunk. He was going to spend the night, but then found a trick on Grindr. Suits me fine.
