thepnutgalleryHad a Dr appt in the morning, though I'm still not sure why. Kellie said my charts were the healthiest she's ever seen. I'm taking this as a sign that sex with moar men = progressively healthier Squeak.
Got an email from Linda at Office Team - call or no, I had the gig. Show up at 1pm today.
The receptionist hadn't heard of me, she called one of the partners, but he wasn't answering his phone. I sat and waited for about 30 min-1hr. The partner finally showed, and the CEO shortly thereafter. They kept describing the job as "data entry," but really, they had a sample petition for orphan drug status, and they wanted me to write another to the FDA. I finished my rough draft at 5:30, and even though I didn't want to fight traffic, headed south.
Stopped at the gym, because some traffic > all the traffic. Not a bad workout, and the drive home from there wasn't so bad. I was really tired when I got home. Way more tired than the day I'd had warranted. One friend posted some BS about liberals needing conservatives to protect and support them, but conservatives not needing liberals. Another friend posted a pic of some health quack next to Nigella Lawson, saying that Ms. Lawson looks as good as she does because she eats meat.
My head kind of exploded. I snapped at both of them. Snark and Squeaky teeth everywhere. Conservative boy tried to weasel out of his rationale for posting, I wasn't having it, and he said my responses "smacked of condescension." Yes I did, yes I did, somebody please tell him who the F*** I is.
At the same time, a little voice in the back of my head recognized that my responses might have been infinitesimally out of proportion. Finally jacked off and went to bed, much as I hated to do so. Took FOREVER to fall asleep, and then my eyes snapped open at 4:30.
