First Interview

Woke up at 4 but managed to doze in that pearly early grey and jumped out to take care of the kids and wake him, though I'd much rather have continued sleeping. Julian clearly felt the same, as he initially insisted his wake-up call was requested for 7am. I tried to pep myself up for the practice interview with Tim, thought about canceling altogether, but blah blah about every journey beginning with a first step and all that. I think I was partly paralyzed by anxiety and indecision on how I was even supposed to behave. How much was a more journalistic interview and how much an intimate chat between friends. We can only get better.

I thought maybe roller skating or a board game night or something but everyone was busy. Good opportunity to check in with a few folks as well, though Julian wanted my attention on 30 Rock instead of Marie considering a human child. There was a weird moment of connection, ruined by anxiety.
