Hits & Misses

I finally managed to sleep through the night - a first for the week! Not that it made much difference, since even with coffee I was exhausted all day. That same constant need to stretch. I got logged in for our meeting despite some confusion about which meeting, which pw, etc. I apologized for calling in sick, for not using the right channels to call in, and double-checked how to handle being ahead. We're going to have a Zoom Happy Hour on Tuesday, since we have the next day off. For all that my babbling at the start was largely a result of my anxiety, even hearing them laugh helped reduce it. By the end of the day, I got all of my work done. I could probably have emptied the claims queue for everyone, but I decided that moving towards relatively better synced workflow would be better. I ended the week with all the mail that was waiting distributed and everything I could do in advance done. Fucking RAWR.

Less fortunately, whatever weird clock nonsense has been going on with my phone got even worse. I messaged Mode in the morning, but they never got back to me. The Current app stopped working altogether, stopped a couple other apps from working, and even the actual phone app didn't work. I missed my appointment with Neurology, but then couldn't even find the missed appointment in My Scripps. Just not a great day, technologically speaking.

I wanted to get somewhat caught up on my journal, work on that timeline, etc., so I told Julian when he called and called that I was busy. Unfortunately, I was so tired by then I didn't get much done, so when he called again, I answered. I had a lot of weed, and a lot of uncomfortable memories of being a drugged-out mess came to visit. He tried to calm me down over chat, but I'm pretty good at barricading within my brain. Julian said he was usually high on molly or coke when we went out to parties and such, but...I'm not putting much stock in that, if for no other reason than finances. I'm going to send him the Zoom Happy Hour, and I took care of some extra car things for him.
