Copy-paste The Child Inside

Terry called me a little after 6, wanting me to come to the dog park with him. I'm capable of boundaries when it comes to animals or work, so I declined. He said he understood being "rejected," and I nipped that in the bud. I've been emotionally hostage enough to dodge it like Neo.

I'm ahead at work, and Lynelle's safety net always comes in handy. We were supposed to have a Show & Tell Zoom meeting, so I de-hoboed myself and took Houdini's cage into my room. The link wouldn't work for me, and I'm hyperaware of how old Houdini is at this point, so I certainly didn't fight that. On my lunch, I cleaned. Vacuuming, trash, Mouse Kingdom, etc. When I walked out to check my mail from last night (not that I care that much, but I hate thinking of the postal worker getting annoyed that I leave it), Terry called me over. He made me a scarf to got with my hat, and it's quite cute. He also said we need to set some boundaries, and agreed to only call me over after 5pm. Very healthy and understanding, really, and even understanding that I hate saying "no." He let me know they were going to the mountains or something after work, and Lorde knows I have no problems spending the night alone with Lady Miss Friday.

I smoked - I'm not quite out of my Plug & Play vapes yet, had a couple cocktails, and watched more Lucifer. One of the episodes pissed me off, because they were playing fast and loose with their own metaphysics. It got interesting when Lucifer's "mom" entered the fray, and the show's psychological shades continue to mirror my own.

I finally got around to posting the new Buzzy Lee song, though I couldn't figure out enough to say about it. I learned she's one of Steven Spielberg's kids, and ended up just posting thanks to Kristen for the Wistful Mix, and Julian for introducing me to the show.
