Do Not Pass Go
Jul. 23rd, 2019 03:01 pmManaged to find decent parking again, which is a godsend. But now that I'm done with the various kudos, and no one was out at work, I find that I don't have much to do. It'll pick up again. Towards the end of the day there was a little snag with TrueFiling, and hopefully they got it fixed, but I was out of there. I got hit up by a client who lives near me, and first he balked at the price, but we came to an agreement. Then he wanted to know about condoms, and I'm certainly willing to use them, but he stopped responding at that point.
I also went ahead and scheduled my crown. Turns out the tooth that's bothering me is in fact on the block, but we were going to try to wait for insurance to renew so it wouldn't be $900. Nothing to be done about it now, and I'd rather spend 900 on a crown than 1700 on a root canal. And I'm still vacillating on whether I made the right choice. Can my tooth make it 3 weeks to the appointment, or should I have tried to make it wait 4 months for my insurance to re-up.
I played some Diablo II at home, getting through most of the first act with my Druid before I sort of didn't care any more. Read for the rest of the night. My current book is nearly a thousand pages, so even though I'm nearly halfway through it, very little has happened. That's books for you.
