Burn The Floor
Jul. 30th, 2017 01:37 pmWarren messaged me in the morning with a pic of him as a child. Several other people messaged me with well wishes for the show. I herded cats to try to organize the rideshare for Dana, Tim, Tony, and Tami. Dana waited at my place for a while, admiring Bryan's huge dick while he slept naked, but eventually decided to just meet them there. At that moment, Tim also said they were running late and could Dana just bring all the tickets. Next time Imma ask for willcall.
The show itself was infinitely better. No question. I'd been asking Sherril since the beginning if I could buy the outfit from the opening number, and she sighed that everyone had been asking to keep their stuff. I didn't ask to keep it, I asked to buy it. At the end of the show she pulled me aside and said she couldn't give it to me.....but it was in the far costume tub, about halfway down and costumes get lost all the time....Amazing.
Charles spoke to me outside, congratulating me on a great show, asking if I was going to be a part of Jingle. I feel a bit closer with Charles than the other two, so I told him honestly that I wouldn't, because there isn't any real dancing in it. That's when he mentioned they're trying to put together a dance troupe under the same umbrella nonprofit as the singing groups. He's also frustrated that the technical dancers get lumped in with the other dancers.
I talked to a couple folks outside, but kept getting dragged to one side and another by people vying for my attention. So hard being popular - you know how it is. Dana lost his parking ticket, so we spent some time looking for it. We got a note from the people at the front desk, and I said that if that didn't work, I'd just pay his fee. It's ridiculous, given that I also paid for the ticket itself, but whatever. The note worked, he dropped me off at my car...then had to take me back to the theatre to grab my keys.
I finally met Tim, Tony, and Tami at Plumeria, Tony paid and expressed an interest in going out, but he still had to take Tim and Tami back to the boat. While I waited, Warren wished me good luck on the night's show. He's obviously got a lot on his plate right now, so I'm not upset at all about him not knowing or going to my show. He's not anticipating finishing until 1-2am, has to get up at 5, no career prospects, etc. Poor guy.
I got cleaned up at home, we went to Mo's, I bought our first drink. My friend Jesse was there, very drunk, and tried to make out with me. We made some new friends, but finally had to head home. I blew him, he got on the road.
Just as I was laying down to sleep, Warren messaged me that he needed help. He was only half way done, his Uncles had helped previously but gone home, and he had to be up in a few hours. I asked for his address, but didn't hear back, and I was honestly relieved. I'd have made the trip, but it was a long day for me, too, and I also had to be up early.
