I Know It When I'm In Front

Good thing I didn't call in, because Kathy is now on vacation. I could've sworn we used to get notices about this sort of thing. I should've gone to the gym right after, but instead I updated my journal, played with Lady Miss Friday, and ate pretty much everything in the house while listening to old Liked music from Youtube.

At 7:30, I happened to remember that rehearsal was actually in Point Loma, instead of a block from my house. That would've been awkward. Made it to rehearsal on time, started warming up in the room when Keith (the choreographer) walks in and tells everyone they probably don't need to warm up because this number isn't really "dancey." I considered grabbing my keys and walking out, but reined myself in. I can always drop out later, I can never take back being more diva than I am talented. The dance is fine. There are some good parts and some terrible parts, but there's a soul train line, and that adds about a million points.
