There's A Wall There

Had what was supposed to be my final meeting at work. But because I've made 10 mistakes since our last one, I'm still on probation, and if I don't "fix" these issues, I'll lose my job.

I'm glad Lynelle gave me the paper before the meeting, because it gave me time to get my emotions in check. I've never been fired from a job before, but it wouldn't be for gross misconduct, so I'd still collect unemployment. We'll see.

I hit the gym - 5 days this week. Would have worked out longer, but Tim messaged that he was on his way. Better early than late. Chip had messaged me earlier in the week, asking to see Pupple. He has a cottage in La Jolla, which means trying to get Pupple there on a weekday would be a process. Instead, he invited us over for a BBQ on Friday. I invited Dave and the Bryans, and both Bryans were going to bring some friends. Then Bryan tapped out. Then Bryan tapped out. Then Dave tapped out. I was going to invite Chris, but he didn't respond to my last text, so I opted not to.

The BBQ was fun, even with just the 4 of us. Pupple ran around in the back yard, I cooked up the packaged seitan that Chip bought, everyone else had kebabs that Chip bought. I'm not sure if Chip started drinking before we got there or what, but he seemed loopy. Tim tends to catastrophize everything, so he thought it might be Alzheimer's.

Bryan had wanted me to contact him when I got home, but I was exhausted so I passed out on the couch briefly before moving to my bed.
