Happy Birthday!

A friend was having his party at Mo's...maybe. He'd posted some emo thing about canceling it the day before, but then I started seeing pics of him there. Made my way there - most people didn't show, and the Birthday boy was pretty squeaked. I saw Cecil, the other dancer, and her bf, and chatted with them. Even though it was still VERY early, he ordered another drink, then decided we should go to #1 on Fifth. Uh..okay. Stumbled over there, where he ordered another drink, and wouldn't drink water. He sang along to Fun's "We Are Young," got texts from other people inviting him to come hang out at whatever bar they were at instead of joining him for his bday. The bartender is a friend of mine, so didn't even throw him out the first couple times he fell asleep. Eventually, it was time to go. I brought him back to my place, gave him some chips and water, had a cocktail myself. He didn't make it to the wet underwear contest, but less people have spent the night in my bed than been in the contest, so he's in a slightly more specialized class this way. :-)
