My weekend was good, overall, though it seems poorer by comparison, since I’ve been having awesome weekends lately. Didn’t get out of work on Friday until 5, so we went to the gym to avoid traffic. Unfortunately, everyone else has this same idea, and all the swim lanes were full. We waited in the hot tub for a little while, but no one seemed in any hurry to leave. I got cruised in the shower, which I didn’t notice until too late, and even if I had, I’m not sure what I would have done. I don’t really understand how that’s supposed to work, but I’m going to Goodsearch it one of these days.

Had dinner with Anthony at Mandarin Dynasty, which was nice, and then worked crew at Rocky, which was fun. I had intended to shout more lines, but that seemed to have more coverage than props/costumes, and I'm happy to be where ever I'm most needed.

As tired as I was after Rocky, I ended up staying up until 7:30, ‘cause I just didn’t want to go to bed when I finally got home. Given that, I don’t think I slept in TOO late on Saturday (11:30), dropped off a blanket for Freecycle, helped Laura move, and went to Superhero Fitness Training. It was just me Jason, as everyone else seems to have dropped out. I feel a little awkward about that, since I’m the one who signed them all up, but you can lead a horse to water, etc.

Had dinner with Jason at Café India, where we talked about the plight of the opressed in foreign lands (specifically India), and about the futility of talking about the plight of the opressed in foreign lands. My rational brain understands that the way to fix these things is by talking to people, campaigning, and international reform, but the rest of me wishes I could just pick up a broadsword and slay the dragon. After dinner, we went back to his place. I’m glad I planned on spending the night there, because we ended up playing Diablo II until 4am and crashing. I need to find my Expansion CD, since Jason called Sorceress, and I don't really make a very good Barbarian. Nerds.

I’ve always hated the morning after a sleepover, from the time when I was little, and I’m not really sure why. Part of it is how late a start you get on the next day, but there's also a physical feeling of unwellness that I've always gotten, as well as that uncomfortable "party's over" mindset. Meh.

From there, I went grocery shopping and waited for boot camp. Sadly, boot camp didn't happen, but Anthony and I went swimming instead, and the evening was saved.

Yesterday, I got a Fix-it ticket for my brake lights, which was bound to happen eventually, so I bought lights, and should be having them installed shortly. Dance class w/Jason was a blast. He was feeling a bit lethargic, but dance is good for what ails you, and it fixed him right up. After class we went with The Boy to Bourbon St., which was similarly fun. I certainly had a good enough time, but the boys had more fun than I did, and I think I may leave it to them next time. We'll see.

Anthony has his date tonight, and I want it to go well for him, just not so well that he decides to marry the man. I'm prepared for that to happen someday, but today is not that day, and tomorrow doesn't look good, either.
I'm also getting together with an old friend tonight, though it's just to chat and catch up.

On a final note, it's really nice to be wanted: I posted my resume to Monster late last week, and I've already got two interviews for places within biking distance. Neither are particularly queer, but that would really just be icing on the cake.

That's all(!) I got for now.
