I Just Have A Lot of Feelings
Mar. 3rd, 2012 12:41 amWoke up a little hungover, got a call from Matt that he wanted to go to Black's. It's been literally years since I've been there - everyone always wanted to stay hours longer than me. Decided to risk it, then realized I was still listening to "Postcards from Italy" and that I wouldn't be able to take my desktop with me to the beach, so I hurried to get the mp3 on my phone. Had a great time at the beach, though I kept being overwhelmed by emotion from listening to my song. One of the guys there had apparently been my Betty at Rocky a million years ago, and still had the picture we took. So funny. The boys got Chipotle, then dropped me off at home.
I meant to nap before First Husband Anthony came over, but didn't really have time once I went to get snacks and things. I did lay down for a bit, which was essential. FHA came over before his friends, and we chatted a bit. His friend Todd showed up, as did Big Eric. My night is fairly fuzzy after that. I vaguely recall seeing Kaleb there, inviting him and Matt to come home with me, and Todd getting suddenly snarky. Next thing I remember, we're back my place, Anthony and Matt are on the couch...maybe Matt even asked about me? I dunno. But sitting in the dark in the kitchen was much more important to me at that moment. Sitting in the dark and listening to my song in my head.
